When United States Senator and now Majority Leader Mitch McConnell took office in 2003 our nation was approximately $7 Trillion in debt.

Today, during his time in office and as leader of the United States Senate, we stand to pass $24 Trillion dollars, an increase of $17 Trillion so far.
